Step 1

For preparing nadan prawn fry, in a bowl make a paste out of chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and a little water.

Step 2

Marinate the prawns in the above paste and keep it aside.

Step 3

Grind onions, ginger, green chillies, garlic and curry leaves with a dash of water to a fine paste.

Step 4

Heat coconut oil in a vessel and sautT the paste for 5 minutes on low flame.

Step 5

Toss in the marinated prawns, mix it and allow it to cook with the lid on.

Step 6

Pour in the coconut milk and 4 tbsp of coconut oil. Fry it till the coconut milk evaporates.

Step 7

Nadan prawn fry is ready. Serve hot with chappathi.
