Step 1

Wash and soak rice for atleast one hour.

Step 2

Grind the rice along with grated coconut and salt to a fine paste.

Step 3

Add plenty of water to the rice paste so that the batter reaches almost the consistency of water.

Step 4

Heat a nonstick tava and pour one spoonful batter into it.

Step 5

Rotate the tava as soon as you pour the batter.The thickness of neer dosa should be that of thin paper.

Step 6

No need to cook the dosa by putting it upside down. Just cover it with a lid and it will get cooked within 2 minutes.

Step 7

Fold the dosa like a triangle.

Step 8

:- Serve hot with chutney / sambar / chicken curry / egg curry / potato curry

Hi suja, this is an instant dosa. No need of fermentation. You can make dosa immediately after preparing the batter.
