Wash and clean the pomfret properly. Chop of the tail end and make 3 - 4 incisions on each.
Grind together coriander leaves, chillies, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper corns and turmeric powder. Keep it in a bowl.
Add rice powder and lemon juice to it and mix well.
Apply the masala on both sides of the fish and set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a tawa.
Arrange the marinated fish and cook each side of the fish on a medium flame.
