Step 1

Wash and chop radish leaves finely.

Step 2

Cut radish in to half inch cubes.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Splutter mustard seeds.

Step 5

Add chopped radish first and allow to cook for 2 minutes, covering the pan.

Step 6

Add chopped radish leaves, salt, turmeric and chilli powder to it.

Step 7

Mix and cook covered for some more time or till done.

Step 8

Switch off the flame and mix lemon juice to it.

Step 9

:- Tastes good with rice or chappathi.

Step 10

:- 1/2 cup of freshly grated coconut can be added.
:- Add 1/2 cup soaked green gram while cooking radish pieces.


comment to the previous comment ..... cos not too many ppl will eat radish ...hehehehhe


I think that you need to clarify that this recipe requires the long white radish, commonly used in India.

I fail to see how 1 radsh can make enough curry for 4 people
