Step 1

Soak the sago in water for an hour.

Step 2

Boil it in water.

Step 3

Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan, until it becomes translucent.

Step 4

Lower the heat and leave it for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Step 5

Heat the ghee in a pan.

Step 6

Fry the cashew nuts & cardamom pods in it.

Step 7

Add vermicelli and fry until golden brown.

Step 8

Add this to the boiling sago.

Step 9

Add sugar, milk & raisins.

Step 10

Stir for few minutes until the sugar dissolves.

Step 11

:-Serve hot.
