Step 1

For preparing thick chicken soup, first cook chicken pieces in a large skillet with lot of water. Add little salt.

Step 2

When done remove flesh from the bones and chop the pieces.

Step 3

Keep aside the water/stock.

Step 4

In a pan, heat butter, add onion, garlic, bay leaves, cardamom and pepper corns.

Step 5

When onion are dark brown in color, add the all purpose flour.

Step 6

When cool, grind them to paste.

Step 7

Boil the chicken stock, add the ground paste, chicken pieces and boil well.

Step 8

Add the beaten egg into it and stir well. Add corn flour mixed in water.

Step 9

When thickened, remove from flame and serve hot. Garnish with spring onions.
