Directions

Step 1

For preparing Tomato Surprise, first mash the boiled potatoes. Add little salt to mashed potato and mix well. Keep potato aside.

Step 2

Next, hollow the tomatoes with the help of a pointed knife.

Step 3

Stuff dry masala chole in one tomato.

Step 4

Put back the tomato lid.

Step 5

Cover or pack the tomato completely with mashed potato.

Step 6

Make a liquid paste of maida.

Step 7

Dip these stuffed tomatoes in the maida paste and cover it with breadcrumbs.

Step 8

Deep-fry Tomato Surprise in hot boiling oil to a golden brown color.

Step 9

While serving, slice the tomatoes vertically through the center.

Step 10

Arrange Tomato Surprises in a plate and garnish with aloo bhujia.

Step 11

:- Serve Tomato Surprise with green coriander chutney and tomato sauce.

It too oilly. The sequence of preparations at serial number 3 and 4 are to be excahnged. You cannot close the lid of tomato and then fill it up with meshed potato.
