Bhindi/Vendakka

ml
Curd

tbsp
Garam masala
2
tbsp
Red chilly powder
2
tbsp
Green chilly
chopped
1
tbsp
Ginger
garlic
paste
1
tbsp
Turmeric powder
4
tbsp
Oil
2
tbsp
Ghee
Salt
to taste
Instructions
Blend the curd,
garam masala
,
salt
,
turmeric powder
, red
chilli powder
and half of the chopped
green chillies
.
Trim the bhindis and make slant slits in them.
Soak the bhindis in the curd mixture for 10 minutes.
Heat
oil
and fry the
ginger
,
garlic
paste,
green chillies
.
Add the bhindis with the curd mixture and cook for 10 minutes.
Top with the
ghee
and
garam masala
and steam on low heat for 5 minutes, covered.
Cook till dry.
Garnish with
tomato
slices and
onion
rings.
:- Serve hot!!!
