Fruit Jam
According to the season, you can preserve your fruits and make jam according to the fruit mixes you prefer. Make the fruit combinations you like and make Jam. Since no preservatives added, its best to give to kids too.

Ingredients
  • Strawberry – 6
  • Apple 1
  • Banana 2
  • Guava 2
  • Sugar 1cup
  • Vinegar – 1/2TSP
  • Chinagrass – 10G
Instructions
  1. Soak the china grass in ½ cup water. Powder the sugar and keep it ready. Remove the apple seeds and cut into pieces. Put all fruits into a mixer and make it into pulp.
  2. Melt the china grass in a nonstick pan. Pour in the mixed fruit pulp into this and keep stirring, on low flame.
  3. The color will change slowly. Add the powdered sugar and keep stirring. When you add sugar, the consistency will be little watery. Keep stirring until the mix starts leavening the side of the pan, keep stirring until it reaches a dark red color.
  4. Always keep on low flame only. Here add ½ tsp vinegar and remove from fire.
  5. Once its cool, move to a glass jar, and keep refrigerated.

A Note:- It’s a simple quick and easy jam you can make at home. Mind you in Muscat I have red color guava with which I made this jam, any color is perfect for this recipe. The basic recipe I took from the internet but made my own changes and variations in fruits. Kids will love it, I am sure. Enjoy.
