Madhura curry paayasam is a traditional kerala style paayasam.the main ingredient is kadala parippu/channa daal.we usually can find this madhura curry paayasam in tradional functions like Eid,onam etc.this kheer is my mom's favorite

Instructions
  1. The first step is to make rice balls.knead the rice flor with water and salt as required until you get into a smooth consistent dough.take some dough in your hand and using your fingers make small balls.steam cook it for 20-25 minutes and keep it aside
  2. Soak the channa for 3 hours.in a pressure cooker cook the soaked channa with 1 cup of water.cook until 2 whistle
  3. Take a vessel add jaggery and water.then heat it until it becomes a liquid form.strain it using a strainer
  4. In a large vessel add the cooked n a large vessel add the cooked rice balls,cooked channa,chopped banana and stir well.rice balls,cooked channa,chopped banana,coconut milk and stir well
  5. Cook it for 5 minutes in medium heat and stir continuously.
  6. Add jaggery syrup,salt and cardamom powder into it and stir continuously
  7. In another pan heat 3 tsp of ghee and add coconut pieces and cashew nuts.saute it for 2 minutes.
  8. Add it into the paayasam
  9. The delicious madhura curry paayasam is ready to be served
