Step 1

Boil potatoes, peel or cut into small cubes as the case may be.

Step 2

Roughly pound fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, kala jeera and fennel seeds.

Step 3

Mix the above with little salt and apply it to the potatoes and keep for 1/2 hour.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 5

Fry curry leaves.

Step 6

Add the rest of the pounded masala and fry on a low flame for 2 mins.

Step 7

Add potatoes, hung curds and green chillies.

Step 8

Cover and cook, till the dish is dry.

Step 9

Add amchoor and stir well.

Step 10

Remove from the flame.

Step 11

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Step 12

:- Serve hot.
