  • Amberella : 3 nos
    Bombay onion cut into big pieces : 1 no
    Green chillies cut into 1 inch pieces : 2 nos
    Curry leaves : 1 spring
    Mustard seeds : ½ tsp
    Small piece of Goraka : 1 nos
    Chilli powder : 1 tsp
    Chilli pieces : 2 ts
    Saffron : ¼ no
    Water : 1 cup
    Sugar : 1 tsp
    Salt : to taste

Wash and peel the amberella and cut as shown in the picture. (Put seeds also)

Add bombay onions, green chillies, curry leaves, mustard seeds, piece of goraka, chilli powder, chilli pieces, saffron and a pinch of salt to taste and mix well.

Then add a cup of water and cook.

When the amberella is getting soft add sugar.
