Step 1

Cut onions and green chillies into long, thin pieces.

Step 2

Cook potatoes, peel and mash coarsely.

Step 3

Heat oil in a frying pan.

Step 4

Add all the ingredients for seasoning one by one. When it splutters, add onions. Fry till it becomes translucent.

Step 5

Add peas and fry for few minutes.

Step 6

Add mashed potatoes to it.

Step 7

Add salt, sugar and lime juice. Mix well.

Step 8

Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.

Step 9

:- Serve with hot Dosas.

Very authentic recipe for dosai curry. Some people add bengal gram dal (about 2 tsps) for an added crunchiness with the other seasonings.
