Step 1

Heat the oil in a small saucepan.

Step 2

Splutter mustard seeds.

Step 3

Add in the onion and chillies and stir for a minute.

Step 4

Add the turmeric, sugar, cumin and salt and continue to fry for 1 minute.

Step 5

Pour in the yogurt and lemon juice, stirring continuously.

Step 6

Lastly fold in the bread carefully so that it does not crumble too much.

Step 7

Cook for 2 more minutes.

Step 8

Serve sprinkled with coriander and chopped tomato.

Step 9

Tip: Dollop some extra yogurt over the finished dish to cool.
