Step 1

Heat the sugar for caramelizing in a baking dish for a few seconds on a low flame, until it melts and gets burnt.

Step 2

Turn the dish quickly and carefully to ensure that the caramel spreads evenly over the bottom and sides of the dish. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Beat the eggs well.

Step 4

Add milk, sugar and vanilla essence to it. Make sure that the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 5

Strain it(to remove the balancers of the egg) to the caramelized dish.

Step 6

Cover the mouth of the dish with a butter paper and cook in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.

Step 7

When ready, cool the dish with its contents and turn it over on a serving plate.

good one!!!!!very easy to make.....every1 shld try this......


This is a good one. I used Range/Oven to cook this, as I wanted to do it in a Big mold. For doing it in an Oven .... pour final mixture into caramel-coated mold. Fill a baking pan (pan bigger than the mold`s size) with 1 inch of water. Heat oven to 400 degree Faranheit with the water filled pan in it. When the oven reaches set temperature, Keep the mold with mixture inside the baking pan with water. Bake uncovered at 400F for 50-55 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
