Step 1

Add salt to the sliced chillies.

Step 2

Add some sliced onion and mix well. Use a spoon or hand to squeeze the juices out of the chillies. This works well when mixed with salt.

Step 3

Squeeze the juices out of some (about 1 Tbsp) onion slices.

Step 4

Mix in the rest of the onion.

Step 5

Add the lime juice and mix well.

Step 6

Allow it to stand covered for 10-15 minutes.

Step 7

Note: Amount of chillies may be increased or decreased depending upon your need.
