Challaas (Salad) Challaas(Salad) 3 nos Red Onion (medium)3-4 Green hot chillies (sliced diagonally, small)2 nos Lemon (medium)Salt (As reqd) Add salt to the sliced chillies.Add some sliced onion and mix well. Use a spoon or hand to squeeze the juices out of the chillies. This works well when mixed with salt. Squeeze the juices out of some (about 1 Tbsp) onion slices. Mix in the rest of the onion. Add the lime juice and mix well. Allow it to stand covered for 10-15 minutes.Note: Amount of chillies may be increased or decreased depending upon your need. Kerala
