Step 1

Soak the channa(chickpeas) over night. Pressure cook them till it is completely cooked.

Step 2

After cooking them grind it coarsely in a mixer without adding water. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Add two tsp of oil in a frying pan. After the oil heats up, add ginger and green chillies and fry them for about a minute.

Step 4

Then add the finely chopped carrot and beans and cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.Please do not add water. Cover the frying pan.

Step 5

Add salt as reqd and garam masala while cooking. When this mixture is ready, combine the channa paste, mashed potato and cornflour into it.

Step 6

Add finely chopped coriander leaves also. Mix them well.

Step 7

Make small patties of the mixture. Dip in egg white and then in bread crumbs.

Step 8

Roast them on a tava with required oil. Nutritious protein rich delicious cutlets are ready. Serve them with Tomato sauce or mayonnaise.
