Step 1

Heat fat, add sultanas and remove.

Step 2

Add paneer cubes and fry to a golden brown. Remove.

Step 3

Add curry leaves, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.

Step 4

Add rice and fry for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add shelled peas, slit green chillies, salt, sugar and hot water (double the amount of rice) to cook rice.

Step 6

When water is almost absorbed, put in paneer pieces and sultanas.

Step 7

Cook on slow fire till water is completely absorbed and rice is cooked.
