A delicious and spicy chicken liver curry with less gravy

Step 1

Clean the chicken liver pieces and add the finely chopped green chillies, the finely chopped onion, ginger ,salt and 2 cups of water.

Step 2

Keep it on a low flame.

Step 3

Meanwhile roast the corriander powder with chilli powder and turmeric.

Step 4

Grind it with water to make a paste of it and add the paste to the pan of liver.

Step 5

Keep it on flame for another 10 mins.

Step 6

Meanwhile roast the pepper and grind it to make fine powder of it.

Step 7

When the water dries up in the pan, add the pepper powder and mix it well.

Step 8

Finally cut 2 tbsp of onion and fry it golden brown in 2 tbsp of coconut oil.

Step 9

Add it to the liver curry.

Step 10

Garnish with curry leaves.


Read the recipe.I haven t prepared it. feel that it would be good.I have a few ambiguities with the recipe and would have greatly appreciated if you would have been more elaborate.


A typical kerala dish!!very spicy yet very very tasty. Excellent!


really yammy...........but bit hot i added 2pinch of pepper and 1/2tbsp of chili power. but excellent recipe. thanks
