  • Idly : 5 nos ( cut into 4 pieces)
    Onion : 1 no (cubes)
    Green chillies : 4 nos (slices)
    Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
    Chilli powder : 1 tsp
    Corn flour : 2 tsp
    Ginger : ½ tsp (chopped)
    Garlic : 1 tsp (chopped)
    Pepper : 1 tsp
    Tomato sauce : 2 tsp

In a bowl, mix a pinch of salt, cornflour and chilli powder with little water.

Dip the idly pieces in it and fry crispy in oil. Keep aside.

In a pan, add 1 tbsp oil and heat it.4) Add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and onion.5) Add green chillies, pepper, ajino moto and fry for 2 minutes. 6) Add tomato sauce, soy sauce and food color.

Add 2 tbsp of water and mix it.8) Add the fried idlies and mix well.

Step 5

Serve hot with coriander leaves.
