Step 1

For preparing cocoa cake, first sieve flour, baking powder & baking soda. Keep this aside.

Step 2

Whisk eggs. Add butter & sugar. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Mix cocoa powder & milk.

Step 4

Add flour mix and milk solution alternatively and mix thoroughly.

Step 5

Add vanilla essence, salt & vegetable oil.

Step 6

Divide the mix in 2 pans(9 inch) and bake for 350 degrees for 30-35 min.

Step 7

Method for frosting:
1)Mix butter & shortening thoroughly.

Step 8

Add the remaining ingredients & beat thoroughly.

Step 9

Apply on cake using a cake spatula.

Step 10

Decorate with Nutella hazelnut spread.
