Step 1

Put the sugar in a pan and let it melt. (Do not burn). Pour it on your baking pan and spread all over.

2)Heat the milk and condensed milk. Do not boil.

Step 2

Put the eggs in a bowl and pour the milk. Keep on stirring and then add the coconut milk.

Step 3

Strain the mixture so you will have a smooth texture. Then pour it in your baking pan.ß

Step 4

Then steam in the oven or steamer for 40 minutes or you can verify by inserting a toothpick or a knife.

Step 5

Let it cool and place it on the fridge.

Step 6

Turn over to a serving plate and decorate with coconut strips. Pour hot water halfway up the sides of the bake pan. Bake in a 325ªF oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool completely in the refrigerator.


Could someone verify if the pudding had to be steamed and then baked again I think after steaming, cooling and turning the pudding to a serving plate, you do not have to bake it again. Thanks for the post though.
