Step 1

Steam the liver until cooked (cook for only 10 mins, otherwise, the liver will harden).

Step 2

Slice liver into thin, 1 inch, long pieces.

Step 3

Grind coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom into a fine paste.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 5

Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, saute onion.

Step 6

Add ginger and garlic and stir for a while.

Step 7

Add the ground paste and saute.

Step 8

When the oil starts to separate, stir in the liver.

Step 9

Add vinegar and salt to taste.

Step 10

Sprinkle crushed pepper and saute.

Step 11

When the gravy thickens, remove from fire.

Step 12

:- Serve hot.


hMM..ME TOO... I either, don see any creamy ingredient...well, gonna try this one now..and review it later...i think i ll add 1/2 cup coconut milk in t end..hopefully it shud bring creamy texture.


One doubt, why is this recipe called creamy liver curry. I dont see any coconut milk or cream added to this. I have just the recipe. will be trying it soon.
