Step 1

Cut the drumsticks lengthwise and remove the fleshy part with a spoon.

Step 2

Cut the drumstick into small pieces and mix it with green chilly, garlic, cumin powder, onions, turmeric, curry leaves and salt and keep aside for a while.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 4

Splutter mustard seeds followed by curry leaves and put the drumstick mix into this pan.

Step 5

Cook on low or medium flame for a while by covering the lid till cooked .

Step 6

Check ocassionally to make sure it doesn`t get overcooked.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the lid and mix well.

Step 8

Add the grated coconut on top and mix again.

Step 9

After a minute, remove from flame.

Step 10

:- Serve with plain rice.
