Step 1

For preparing ela ada, first powder the rice in mixer.

Step 2

Boil 1 1/2 cup water with required salt.

Step 3

When the water starts to boil add the rice powder and knead well.(no lumps)

Step 4

Remove from flame.

Step 5

Take plantain leaf spread little butter. Now spread the rice mixture with hand (thin layer) then spread coconut and sugar.

Step 6

Fold the leaf and arrange all the other leaf in idly steamer and steam for 10 minutes.

Step 7

Ela ada, a tasty sweet snack is ready.
