  • Butter - 1 tbsp

Instructions
  1. For preparing ela ada, first powder the rice in mixer.
  2. Boil 1 1/2 cup water with required salt.
  3. When the water starts to boil add the rice powder and knead well.(no lumps)
  4. Remove from flame.
  5. Take plantain leaf spread little butter. Now spread the rice mixture with hand (thin layer) then spread coconut and sugar.
  6. Fold the leaf and arrange all the other leaf in idly steamer and steam for 10 minutes.
  7. Ela ada, a tasty sweet snack is ready.
