Step 1

For preparing irachi pathilu, cook beef with chilly powder, green chilly, turmeric powder, salt and water.

Step 2

In another vessel fry onions, with chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and curry leaves in coconut oil.

Step 3

Add in the cooked beef and mix well.

Step 4

Press a ball of ground moodari on a banana leaf.

Step 5

Spread the beef masala on it.

Step 6

In another banana leaf press pathilu as the same size of the 1st and place it above the masala.

Step 7

Place masala on top of the second pathilu and repeat the process.

Step 8

Steam cook the irachi pathilu along with the banana leaf.

Step 9

Irachi pathilu is ready. Serve hot.
