Green chilly

Garam masala

Chilly powder
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
Coconut oil
As reqd
2
springs
Curry leaves
Water
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
For pathilu:
2
cups
Moodari
soaked and ground with
salt
and
water
Instructions
For preparing irachi pathilu, cook
beef
with chilly powder, green chilly,
turmeric powder
,
salt
and
water
.
In another vessel fry onions, with chilly powder,
turmeric powder
,
garam masala
and
curry leaves
in
coconut oil
.
Add in the cooked
beef
and mix well.
Press a ball of ground moodari on a
banana
leaf.
Spread the
beef
masala on it.
In another
banana
leaf press pathilu as the same size of the 1st and place it above the masala.
Place masala on top of the second pathilu and repeat the process.
Steam cook the irachi pathilu along with the
banana
leaf.
Irachi pathilu is ready. Serve hot.
