Step 1

Chop the mushrooms and tomato.

Step 2

:- The stem of mushroom can also be used in the soup.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Step 4

Saute the mushrooms till all the water in the mushroom evaporates.

Step 5

:- This takes only 1 or 2 minutes and you get the mushrooms with a concentrated earthy flavour which is excellent in soup.

Step 6

Sprinkle salt to the sauted mushrooms and keep aside.

Step 7

In a vessel, dry roast the maida till it turns slight brown.

Step 8

Add boiled milk slowly and stir well so that lumps are not formed.

Step 9

Stir till the mixture thickens to the desired consistency.

Step 10

Add the sauteed mushrooms and pepper.

Step 11

Add more salt if required.

Step 12

:- Serve hot.
