Step 1

Mash paneer coarsely and add milk powder to it.

Step 2

Add condensed milk and mix.

Step 3

Heat the mixture in a thick-bottomed pan.

Step 4

Cook on medium heat with constant stirring till the mixture becomes thick which should take about 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from the fire and spread onto a greased plate.

Step 6

Sprinkle cardamom powder.

Step 7

Top with silver leaf.

Step 8

Cool and cut into squares.


this is very easiest and taste is very good.we loved this very much.

This was the most simple recipe I have ever done for an Indian sweet. My husband is from India and my Father-In-Law just brought kalakand from India for us from Pulla Reddy sweets in Hyderabad, and this recipe is really close to being that good had I not just had it from India I would never have known the difference.
