Wash basmati rice and drain well.
Take a pan and pour ghee. Splutter cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.
Add onion and fry crisp.
Add the drained basmati rice and fry for 5 minutes.
Add boiling water and required salt.
Cover with a lid and cook in low heat until done.
Stir gently and wait till the water has evaporated completely.
Take a pan and pour coconut oil. Fry the onion, cashew nuts and raisins. Scatter on top of malabar neichoru.
