Directions

Step 1

For preparing microwave dum aloo, first prick potatoes and microwave for 8 minutes in high.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes and set aside.

Step 3

Mix together all the ingredients: tomato puree, brown onion paste, ginger paste, red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala, cashew nut paste, water, 1 tsp oil and required salt. Cook in microwave for 4 minutes.

Step 4

Add cooked baby potatoes to the above mixture and microwave for another 4 minutes in high.

Step 5

Simple and delicious microwave dum aloo is ready. Serve hot with chappatis.
