Step 1

Put the ingredients:mutton, onion, tomato, ginger, chilly powder and required salt into a pressure cooker. Cook well till the mutton becomes tender.

Step 2

After that, heat little oil in a pan and heat all the masalas: coriander, chilly, pepper and coconut till a roasted smell comes.

Step 3

Grind the roasted masala mixture without adding water. Add this ground mixture into the cooked mutton. Add some water and make it boil for some time.

Step 4

Take a pan and heat ghee. Saute the shallots and curry leaves. Put into the mutton curry. If required, add some pepper powder also. Garnish with coriander leaves. Mutton thick curry is ready, serve hot.
