  • For preparing parippu vada, soak toovar dal, urad dal and channa dal in water for 1/2 hour.
  • Grind the soaked item with green chillies and red chillies.
  • The batter should be in thick form.
  • Add asafoetida, salt and curry leaves to the batter and mix it well.
  • Roll the batter into a lemon size.
  • Then flatten it to form a round shaped of about 3 cm diameter.
  • Fry this in coconut oil
  • Turn sides and cook well.
  • Parippuvada is ready.
