Step 1

Soak dry peas whole night.

Step 2

Cook this soaked peas, potato and carrot in a pressure cooker.

Step 3

Cut garlic into small pieces.

Step 4

Heat ghee in a skillet.

Step 5

Add the ingredients for seasoning followed by garlic, ginger and onion Fry well till the ghee separates from it.

Step 6

Add tomatoes followed bycooked and coarsely mashed potatoes and carrots. Continue frying for a few minutes.

Step 7

Add cooked peas, cover the pan and bring it to a boil.

Step 8

Sprinkle salt, sugar and chilly powder. Boil for another 4 minutes.

Step 9

Add paneer cubes or ricotta cheese. After mixing, don`t boil for a long time.

Step 10

Garnish with cut coriander leaves.


Excellent, came out really really well, just like in the restaurants back home, if not better. Thanx...
