Step 1

Dry roast peppercorns, fennel seeds, grated coconut and cinnamon and grind it to a fine paste.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 3

Add bay leaf followed by onions and fry well.

Step 4

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry, till it turns golden brown.

Step 5

Add tomato and salt.

Step 6

Add all the powders and fry, till the tomato gets mashed and the oil starts to separate.

Step 7

Add crab and fry.

Step 8

Add the ground paste along with a cup of water.

Step 9

Add salt, if reqd.

Step 10

Cook, till it gets thick.

Step 11

:- Serve with chappathis or white rice.


Really this was very very tasty.


It was an excellent recipe. All of us liked it very much. It tasted much better with coconut....My kids loved it a lot...Thank u very much for putting up this outstanding recipe.
