Step 1

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 2

Add cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste.

Step 3

Add sliced onions and saute, till they become transparent.

Step 4

Add sliced tomatoes and cook, till done.

Step 5

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilly powder and salt.

Step 6

Add the grated potatoes along with water and cook, till they become tender.

Step 7

:- Add more water, if needed.

Step 8

Add curd and mix well.

Step 9

:- Do not boil.

Step 10

:- Serve hot with rice along with pickle.


The curry is not that bad but doesnt go with rice (as written). Can prepare and eat for once in our life time.
