Step 1

For preparing punjabi fried fish masala, crush onion, garlic, ginger and coriander leaves.

Step 2

Marinate fish with the crushed paste, chilly powder, turmeric, curd and salt.

Step 3

Fry the fish in hot pan.

Step 4

Keep aside.

Step 5

In the same oil, add cumin, methi leaves and tomato. Fry well till tomato lightens.

Step 6

Add cashew paste.

Step 7

Add water and mix.

Step 8

Add the gravy and pour it over the fish.
