Step 1

For preparing quiche lorraine, knead all the ingredients under short crust pastry.

Step 2

Preheat the oven at 210 degrees celsius.

Step 3

Roll out the pastry dough and place it in a greased flat baking dish.

Step 4

Prick the base and pinch down the edges with a fork and bake it for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Dice the steaky bacon and fry it gently in a frying pan with butter. Remove from the pan and place it on a tissue.

Step 6

Beat the eggs for 20 seconds.

Step 7

Add in the milk, cream, salt, pepper powder and a little grated nutmeg. Beat it again.

Step 8

Spread the steaky bacon over the precooked pastry base and pour the mixture over it.

Step 9

Turn down the oven to 200 degrees celsius and bake it for 30 minutes.

Step 10

Smoked steaky bacon is ready. Serve hot.
