Quick & Easy Kerala style sausage fry

Step 1

Cut the sausages into small pieces, preferably small cubes (1 cm thick) and wash properly in warm water.

Step 2

Remove all the water.

Step 3

In a vessel, add the sausage, chilly powder, turmeric, 1 tsp black pepper powder, salt and mix well.

Step 4

Let the sausage marinate in the masala for 10 - 15 mins.

Step 5

Heat a round bottom pan/wok on low heat and add the oil.

Step 6

Wait till the oil is hot and then add the marinated sausages to the pan.

Step 7

Keep frying. Initially the sausage will swell up and change colour but keep frying (10 - 15 mins) till the sausage becomes dark brown in colour.

Step 8

Then add 1 tsp black pepper powder, mix well and remove.

Step 9

:- Lovely Kerala style sausage fry is ready to be served. Best suited as a snack along with drinks or as an accompaniment along with rice.
