Step 1

Remove sausage from packet and put in cold water for 20 mins.

Step 2

Cut Sausage into small pieces.

Step 3

Chop onions, green chilly and ginger finely.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 5

Splutter mustard seeds.

Step 6

Add curry leaves.

Step 7

Keep stove on low flame.

Step 8

Add chopped ginger, green chillies and onion ansd saute.

Step 9

Add tomato (optional).

Step 10

When the onion gets transparent, add chilli powder, tumeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala powder.

Step 11

Saute till oil separates.

Step 12

Add tomato paste.

Step 13

Add the sausage pieces and stir well.

Step 14

Add salt according to taste.

Step 15

Cover the lid, cook on low flame, till the gravy is dry.

Step 16

:- Serve hot with rice or chappathis.

This is a good recipe. I have tried this and it taste good. A small suggestion, instead of making tomato paste you can simply add sliced tomatoes also, before adding sausage.
