Step 1

Allow the pastry sheets to thaw at room temperature for at least 30 mins.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 3

Fry the onions, till light brown.

Step 4

Add all the spices, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Stir for a minute.

Step 5

Add the thawed spinach and stir well for about 5 mins or until it cooks and the mixture becomes dry.

Step 6

After it cools, add the mayonnaise and mix well.

Step 7

Spread half the mixture inside one pastry sheet leaving a one inch border on all four sides.

Step 8

Carefully start rolling it up tightly like a jelly roll starting at one of the longer sides.

Step 9

Wrap it in a plastic wrap and freeze until firm (about 1 hour).

Step 10

Repeat with the other sheet.

Step 11

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 12

Cut the rolls into 1/2" thick slices.

Step 13

Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and arrange the pinwheels on it an inch apart.

Step 14

Bake for about 20 mins or until they turn golden brown.

Step 15

:- Makes about 30 pinwheels.
