Step 1

Split-cut the breasts into finger thickness and cut them into fingers and pat them dry(about 1/2 inch thick and 3 inch long).

Step 2

Add a little salt, mix well and keep aside.

Step 3

Mix the egg, rice flour, salt and corn flour and add a liitle water to get a thick batter.

Step 4

Stir in the pepper and baking soda powder and mix well.

Step 5

Heat the oil in a frying pan.

Step 6

Quickly dip the chicken fingers in the batter and deep fry.

Step 7

:- The heat should be medium. If it is too high, the chicken will not be cooked properly.

Step 8

When golden brown, remove them from oil and drain in paper towels/ newspapers.

Step 9

For sauce:-
1)Boil 1/2 cup of water.

Step 10

Meanwhile, make a watery paste of 2 tsp of corn flour and 1 tbsp of water.

Step 11

Add this to the boiling water.

Step 12

Add sugar and mix well.

Step 13

When it starts to thicken, add the orange juice and remove from heat.

Step 14

Use it after it cools down.

Step 15

To Serve:-
1)Arrange the fingers in a plate.

Step 16

Keep the sauce in a bowl and place it in the center.

Step 17

Sprinkle the orange peel over the chicken and serve.
