Sweet And Sour Chicken Appetizers Crispy chicken fingers with sweet and sour dipping sauce 2 nos Chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)1/2 cup Corn flour1 tbsp Rice flour1 tsp Baking soda1 tsp Salt1/2 cup Orange juice1 tsp Orange peel (grated)1 no Egg1 tsp Pepper powderOil to fry the chicken fingers2 tsp Sugar Split-cut the breasts into finger thickness and cut them into fingers and pat them dry(about 1/2 inch thick and 3 inch long).Add a little salt, mix well and keep aside.Mix the egg, rice flour, salt and corn flour and add a liitle water to get a thick batter. Stir in the pepper and baking soda powder and mix well.Heat the oil in a frying pan.Quickly dip the chicken fingers in the batter and deep fry. :- The heat should be medium. If it is too high, the chicken will not be cooked properly.When golden brown, remove them from oil and drain in paper towels/ newspapers.For sauce:- 1)Boil 1/2 cup of water.Meanwhile, make a watery paste of 2 tsp of corn flour and 1 tbsp of water. Add this to the boiling water. Add sugar and mix well.When it starts to thicken, add the orange juice and remove from heat.Use it after it cools down.To Serve:- 1)Arrange the fingers in a plate.Keep the sauce in a bowl and place it in the center.Sprinkle the orange peel over the chicken and serve.
