Step 1

In a suitable shallow bowl, take butter and microwave it in low (or reheat) mode for 1 - 2 mins until the butter melts.

Step 2

:- Ensure that the butter is just about melted and doesn`t burn.

Step 3

Let the butter cool.

Step 4

Add icing sugar and beat it well for 10 mins.

Step 5

While adding milk little by little, add sugar powder, baking powder, cooking soda, flour and mix well.

Step 6

Add vanila essence, pineapple essence and mix and beat the batter for 20 mins.

Step 7

Pre-heat the microwave Oven in Convection mode for 3 mins.

Step 8

Take a greased microwave safe bowl (similar to Borosil(r)) and heat for about 2 mins.

Step 9

Remove the bowl and pour the batter into the bowl and place back in the Microwave oven for 7 - 8 mins set to 160 degrees Celcius in Convection mode, in "Microwave Only" option.

Step 10

After this, let it stand for about 2 mins before removing the bowl out from the oven.

Step 11

After removing the bowl, tip it upside down on a large plate and leave it for 10 mins.

Step 12

Slowly pull up the bowl off the plate to leave the cake.

Step 13

:- If all has gone well and to the recipe, then around 4 people at your place will enjoy this freshly baked eggless cake!


Hi kanti, thanx for sharing the recipe of eggless cake which i have been searching for a long time. I have a doubt, can i use cooking range for baking instead of microwave? will it hamper the softness of the cake?
