Tasty with rice
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Red gram Thuvaraparippu
- 2 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
- 2 tsp Coriander seeds
- 2 tsp Channa dhal Kadalaparippu
- 1 tsp Rice
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 1 tsp Pepper seeds
- 1 no Onion sliced long, small
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt As reqd
- 1 big Tamarind Puli
- Curry leaves A few
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Oil
Instructions
- Grind the fried ingredients and add red chilli powder during grinding.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard, black gram and channa dhal.
- After it pops, put sliced onion and curry leaves.
- Pour the ground powder.
- :- We can add vegetables like brinjal and drumsticks (optional).

sorry it dint turn out well….i am not sure….whether the proportions was right….
Its a Typical Tamilnadu dish. I tried it with plain rice and papad. Simply superb.
