2 tsp Red gram (Thuvaraparippu)2 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)2 tsp Coriander seeds2 tsp Channa dhal (Kadalaparippu)1 tsp Rice1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1 tsp Pepper seeds1 no Onion (sliced long, small)1 tsp Turmeric powderSalt (As reqd)1 big Tamarind (Puli)Curry leaves (A few)1 tsp Red chilli powder1 tsp Mustard seedsOil Fry the red gram, black gram, coriander seeds, channa dhal, rice, pepper seeds and cumin seeds.Grind the fried ingredients and add red chilli powder during grinding.Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard, black gram and channa dhal. After it pops, put sliced onion and curry leaves.Pour the ground powder. Its a Typical Tamilnadu dish. I tried it with plain rice and papad. Simply superb.
