MEDICINAL VALUE :
Caraway water is used for treating flatulence and indigestion in traditional medicines. Also used in pharmaceuticals as flavoring agent in mouthwash and gargle preparations.
NUTRIENT VALUE :
Rich in protein, vitamin C, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper and manganese. Also very good source of dietary fiber, calcium and iron.
CULINERY AND OTHER VALUES :
Caraway finds application as a spice for culinary purposes and for flavoring bread, cheese and bakery products. Also used for seasoning sausages.
