 Antimicrobial and antiviral properties, capacity to purify blood by eliminating toxins from the blood, treatment for pimples, leucoderma and sexual disorders

NUTRIENT VALUE :

 Crude protein varies with age of material and level of nitrogen fertilisation, from about 3 to 9% in old grass, to about 20% in young, well-fertilised grass

CULINERY AND OTHER VALUES :

 Used in pasturees for cattle grazing. Valuable in soil conservation.
